Check out the Makanyane Safari Lodge in South Africa

I first saw these photos and learned about this lodge from Karen over at Alkemie when I read her post yesterday and I just had to re-post this for all of you to see. The Makanyane Safari Lodge is a luxurious and exclusive lodge in South Africa. It sits on private land in the Madikwe game reserve, which is home to many different animal and bird species. They call it "a place to relax and revitalise your body and mind". If I was guaranteed that the animals wouldn't attack then I might consider staying here. But I'm not sure that I would be able to relax knowing that an elephant or even a tiger can come right up to the bedroom suite!  I think the photo of the elephant outside the bedroom window is amazing, and for those people who are brave enough or have experienced a safari or environment like this before then it would be an unforgettable time and amazing experience.
