Indonesian News One  Financial Services Authority (FSA) requires all financial services businesses (PUJK) to cease offering products or services and financial services through short message service (SMS) or phone without the consent of the consumer is concerned.

It is, also applies to banks that focus on the property sector, the State Savings Bank Tbk (BBTN). Director of BTN Maryono said, advertising through SMS is to be disciplined.

Previously, the FSA has issued regulations FSA number 1 / POJK.7 / 2013 dated August 6, 2013 which prohibits offers or products and financial services through short message service (SMS) or phone without the consent of the consumer is concerned, that will take effect on August 6 2014
